He makes us believe that he is a painter but uses neither watercolour, nor oil, nor brush nor knife. He attempts to convey the idea that he is a sculptor but uses none of the traditional tools of that profession. He is not moved by art, solely by his own instinct. His favourite materials are those you throw away automatically such as cardboard, paper, old newspapers. Poor material for such rich art. Yet he takes them, transforms them and transcends them into pure emotion.
